Brian Donohew
Vice President of Business Operations and Head of Player Development
Coach Brian Donohew has had years of experience at the DI baseball level. He served as the pitching coach at Cleveland St. and later became an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Akron Zips. Coaching under Pat Bangtson he was able to help Akron to statistical improvements in a number of different offensive categories. His knowledge of the drive and focus it takes at the Division I level will help all OTN clients begin to understand what steps they need to take in their baseball and softball careers.

 

Joe Gabriel
Director of Business Development

Joe Gabriel is a native of Boardman, OH. He currently serves as our Director of Baseball Development while also being the pitching coach for the Boardman High School Baseball program.  He pitched at Hiram College and served as the pitching coach at Springfield High School with Head Coach Bob Beam. He also served as manager and assistant coach of the highly successful 18u Ohio Glaciers program. Among many of his responsibilities Joe has made a significant impact in the recruitment of players and teams for our training, upcoming tournaments, and showcases.

 

Neil Schaffner
Senior Instructor
Coach Schaffner attended Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky. He has become an integral part of the OTN Performance instructional staff.

 

Ken Tirpack
Senior Instructor
Ken Tirpack was hired in the Fall of 2010 and with him he brought knowledge and experience of the Major League level both as a scout and a player. Coach Tirpack attended Campbell High School, and was recruited to play baseball at Ohio State. With the Buckeyes he posted numerous statistical records in the programs hitting department. After Ohio State Coach Tirpack was drafted and signed with the Minnesota Twins, where he was able to participate as high as the AAA level.
